You just have to tolerate some itching for a minute or two. There may be some tension for a day or two as your scalp gets used to the extensions. Are hand tied hair extensions high on maintenance?

Well, I wouldn’t say so.

You just have to wash your hair once a week and you can dry shampoo in between if required. There’s a reason for the minimal washing and contact with water. It helps prolong the life of the extensions.

I also suggest brushing your hair two or three times a day with a boar-bristled brush. Make sure you don’t air dry your roots. However, based on your hair growth speed, you will have to have them moved up by the 7^th week, or later.

You may wonder what I mean by ‘move up’.

It’s actually an easy process where we first cut the string that’s sewn to hold the extensions to your hair. We then loosen the beads and move them up and sew a new string to secure the hair in place.

These hair extensions typically last a year before needing replacement.

That’s a definite yes, which you will realize if you take a look at the benefits.
